ANGELA MYLES
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Angela helped found Vision of Hope as a standalone program in 2004 and currently serves as the agency's Executive Director. She has fostered her commitment to homelessness and homeless issues in the County of San Bernardino serving in several capacities. Angela has served on the Interagency Council on Homelessness, the Chair of the Homeless Provider Network, Co-Chair to the Outreach and Engagement Committee and Liaisons to the Faith Based and African American Communities for the Community Vital Signs Initiative.
Previously experiencing homelessness with her veteran family, she continues to advocate for additional services, and support to ensure that the veteran's family battle ends when they enter the Vision of Hope programs.
Angela studied Chemistry & Sociology at the University of California at Irvine, and Business Administration at Mt. San Antonio College. She is a grant writer, business developer, public speaker and works alongside her husband at Vision of Hope and as consultant for the family business VMA Enterprises.
Angela grew up in Los Angeles, CA, but currently resides in Rancho Cucamonga, CA with her three boys and husband Victor.
Victor Myles was a member of the founding board of House of Prayer Gospel Outreach Ministries and the Vision of Hope programs from 2001-2011. He is currently the agency's Co-Director and serves in the capacity of Director of Housing & Operations. Victor served active duty in the US Army from 1984-1989 and was honorably discharged an E5 rank.
Victor has literally help build the organization from the ground up with his background in logistics, safety and operational services. It wasn't long ago that Victor found he and his family of five homeless without the means to contribute to his household. A philanthropist at heart, he continued to operate in his giving nature continuing to serve homeless and low income constituents as he worked through his own perils with the devastating brunt of living in a place that he could not call his own.
Victor has been a member of the Homeless Provider Network and has participated in several community forums lending his voice to advocate for those who could not be heard themselves.
Victor studied criminology at Cal State Northridge University. He is co-founder of VMA Enterprises, is a motivational speaker and serves as consultant to the county's providers on homeless street outreach.
Victor currently lives in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife and 3 children.
